Unalienable Rights*

From the Declaration of Independence:

"We hold these truths** to be self-evident***, that all men (every one of us) are created**** equal*****, that they are endowed****** by their Creator******* with certain unalienable Rights*, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit******** of Happiness*********."

*Unalienable Rights - Rights that are incapable of being alienated, transferred or surrendered; cannot be separated, taken away or given away.
**Truths - A verified or indisputable fact.
***Self-evident - Evident in itself without proof or demonstration, obvious, or self-explanatory.
****Created - To cause to come into being, as something unique that would not naturally evolve or that is not made by ordinary processes.
*****Equal - As great as; the same as; like or alike in quantity, degree, value.
******Endowed - To equip or supply with a talent or quality.
*******Creator - Term referring to the Judeo-Christian God, GOD.
********Pursuit - An effort to secure or attain.
*********Happiness - Good fortune; pleasure; contentment; joy.

The Right to Life - Unless you are an unborn baby, or weak due to age or infirmity, or disabled; all subject to cost-benefit analysis of a government employee in Washington.

The Right to Liberty - Unless you are a Conservative that wants free speech, or a citizen who desires to own a gun, or you want privacy, or you want to protect your private property from government seizure.

The Right to pursue Happiness - There is no Constitutional right or guarantee that you will attain Happiness. We are to be free to pursue those avenues that may bring us to a level of happiness, which will be different for various individuals. This is not something that we look to government to supply or make happen. This is something that we expect government to stay out of the way and let us experience our Right and enjoy the potential rewards.

WE HAVE these Rights - they were given to us by GOD! The Government does not have the right to take away or limit any of these rights. When they step outside of their limited power and exercise a position to decide which rights we can or cannot enjoy, they not only are going against the Declaration of Independence and Constitution, but they are usurping a position that they believe they can get away with and that position is one that claims to be above the GOD that created us and gave us those rights.

Remember - They were at war with us but we were not at war with them!
